The Creek Wood bowling teams hosted Dickson County Monday, Oct. 24th, for their first match of the 2022-2023 season at Bowl-O-Rena. Our Red Hawks & Lady Red Hawks started the season strong with a win showing tremendous energy, excitement, and teamwork on the lanes! Thankful for the support and excited to see what these student athletes can accomplish this season!

The Red Hawks defeated DC 17-6 and by 110 pins with a total pinfall of 2205. During the American 10 pin game, CW earned 4 individual points and the 2 bonus for higher pinfall taking them to a 6-2 lead. DC took the first 2 baker matches to tie up 6-6, but CW ran away with it after a 3rd baker score of 268 earning the baker pinfall bonus and overall pinfall bonus.

The Lady Red Hawks defeated DC 17-6 and by 154 pins with a total pinfall of 1821. During the American 10 pin game, CW earned 4 individual points and the 2 bonus points for higher pinfall taking them to a 6-2 lead. We took the first 2 baker matches and made some adjustments to allow experience for more of our bowlers in the final baker match after winning the 4th baker. CW earned the baker pinfall bonus and overall pinfall bonus.
